Ayurveda

Ayurveda, the “Science of Life,” is a natural healing system, often described as the the sister to the art and science of Yoga.

Ayurvedic treatments and consultations focus upon restoring harmony in the body and mind. Based upon the rhythms of nature, Ayurveda examines one’s balance or imbalance (often called disease) using body/mind type and pulse assessment. Then gentle suggestions through diet, daily routine, seasonal indications, bodywork and herbs are offered to help recreate balance and alleviate longstanding problems in the body and mind. Depending upon the clients’ current state of health, suitable body treatments can be tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

Our treatments are offered by experienced practitioner, Aiyana Athenian, licensed massage therapist and certified Ayurvedic practitioner. Healing arts sessions are offered online via Zoom or in-person in the greater Asheville area of North Carolina. To schedule an appointment call (207) 790-3280 or click here.
