Mariah is an Intuitive Ayurvedic Wellness guide working to inspire others to take conscious, healthy action in their lives. She is a YA certified 200-hr Yoga instructor, a Reiki Level III Master healer, a mother and a cook. Mariah incorporates yoga, meditation, reiki, healthy eating, outdoor activities and artistic expression into her professional and personal life for balance and growth. She is focused on these qualities as a means to offer a pathway to healing.

Through Mariah’s own personal experience- yoga & food became a way to heal and empower. She completed her first Whole30 in 2012, in 2017 a 200-hr YTT, an Ayurvedic yoga training in 2018, and currently in training to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor through the Boston Ayurveda School. She has been able to clearly define what works for her dosha and commit on a deeper level to her goals of mind-body health and sharing and serving others on their path to wellness and self-empowerment.

Melissa Urey is a children's programming specialist and political advocacy administrator. While searching for peace in 2011, she found yoga. After completing her 200 hour teacher training with ShivaShakti School of Yoga in October 2016, she began sharing her love of yoga with people of all ages. She is currently pursuing her 500 hour advanced teacher training and teaches Little Yogis and Adult Foundations classes at Spiral Tree Yoga in Portland.

Shihan Sadie Landry is a 7th degree black belt, Chief instructor and owner of Pelletier’s Karate in Lewiston. She has been teaching martial arts and fitness classes for over 20 years. She has her 200 hour certification from the ShivaShakti School of Yoga and has been teaching a variety of yoga classes for adults and children for over six years. Currently she has been in the public schools teaching mindfulness and meditation to students. Sadie instructs in some of the ShivaShakti Thai Yoga Bodywork trainings and is on faculty in the ShivaShakti 200-hr YTT.

Aiyana Athenian is Co-founder of the ShivaShakti School of Yoga. She has been teaching yoga and practicing massage and bodywork for more than a decade. Aiyana is an Ayurvedic Practitioner (NAMA) and works with clients both online and in person when at her home base in Maine. She lives a life dedicated to the paths of Yoga and Ayurveda and loves sharing this healing wisdom with others.

Sue came to yoga practice in 2009 for exercise and stress relief, but like so many, she discovered there was much more. She completed 200 hour teacher training with ShivaShakti School of Yoga and Healing Arts in 2015. She is currently continuing with their 300 hour advanced teacher training. She has completed meditative Yin yoga teacher training with Sagel Urlacher. Sue currently teachers at Samudra studio in Saco ME, Breathing Room in So Portland, Spiral Tree in Portland, Fountain of You in Naples, and Massabesic Adult Education.

Lea began practicing yoga in high school and hasn’t looked back. She became a 200-hour certified yoga teacher in 2014 through WellHeart Yoga School and soon after discovered ShivaShakti School of Yoga’s 500-hour program, which she will finish in Fall 2017. She is also currently traveling back and forth from Maine to California, studying yoga therapy with the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI), and hopes to work one-on-one with clients to help them discover the healing properties of yoga. Krishna Peter Perry is Co-founder of the ShivaShakti School of Yoga. He has been teaching yoga and practicing massage and bodywork more than 18 years. He has studied various styles of Yoga around the world and primarily teaches 200-hr, 300-hr YTTs/AYTT's and certification courses currently.
