This course certifies yoga teachers (who have already completed a 200-hour YTT) to lead Ayurvedic-inspired yoga classes in both group and individualized settings. Each training day begins with a doshic-themed sadhana including asana, pranayama, mantra, and medtation with one of the instructors. Then participants will learn about the philosophy and principles behind the time-tested art and science of Ayurveda. Afternoons will be spent exploring the various yogic techniques that increase or decrease a dosha and how to lead classes to balance each of the doshas. Students then practice leading a doshic-themed class daily.
This course is perfect for yoga instructors wanting to gain a new skill to offer to their students or desiring to make their classes more therapeutic. Please note that this training incorporates Ayurvedic wisdom through doshic-specific asana, pranayama, meditation, and chanting, and is not an Ayurvedic dietary course.
