Requirements

ShivaShakti requires applicants to have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training.  Applicants who have graduated from a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training other than ShivaShakti are required to have an interview with a ShivaShakti Yoga Teacher Training staff member (phone interviews are acceptable.)  Applicants are encouraged to have a strong personal yoga practice before applying for the advanced yoga teacher training program.  Please contact us for more information.

In order to receive the Yoga Alliance 500-Hour Certification as a ShivaShakti Advanced Yoga Teacher, participants must complete the 3 ShivaShakti advanced training modules within a 3 year span (from the start date of the initial module.)

Students must send a $250 non-refundable deposit with their application and submit an application by the application deadline (see the Location and Dates page for details.).

ShivaShakti requires a minimum of eight students to conduct an Advanced Teacher Training course module.
